• For 15+ years I was in a radio studio every day.
• For 8 years I was on the road as a stand up comedian and even produced several shows with some VERY talented guys and gals including Hank McGill (God rest his soul) Michael Dustman, Darian Kovach, John Branyan, Mike Warnke and dozens if not hundreds more.
• In 2007 I debuted an online “conversation” about Life, Faith and Culture and how each one of those influence the others.  The program was called Humble O Radio and was my first attempt at “Talk Radio”, truthfully, something I never really held an interest in.  It went pretty well as far as tests go and even now the cataloged programs which we stopped producing back in 2008 still get a few hundred downloads on iTunes and other aggregates each month.
• Since 2002 I have been in and out of my home studio recording custom voice over projects for clients large and small.

I enjoy EACH of those areas of my life behind the mic and appreciate THE VOICE that each give me…except when they are my exclusive area of focus.  Since 1985 I’ve tried to do what I have been told “Marty, you are so good at _____ if you would focus on it you would really make a solid six figure income…” problem is none of them interest me enough to be THE ONLY THING I DO and additionally my experiences from one feed the other making each element something I enjoy more and the performance of each BETTER.

So here it is, my Voice Over Confession as I sit on this side of the screen in this holy confessional that is the internet, I don’t want to be THE BEST KNOWN, MOST BOOKED, INDUSTRY EXPPERT in any of these fields.  I want to do a little comedy, host a few talk shows online each month and do a few voice over gigs a month.  The rest of the time I want to spend with my wife and our two kids enjoying each other.

I’ve been downloading apps. Most recently I downloaded the Constitution of United States of America.  It’s really incredible! I’ve never read the constitution completely from beginning to end except for in history class when I was in high school. What is an incredible document.
