OK, this is not an actual catch by a ballgirl at any baseball game. It is a stunt woman rigged up with wires making what looks like an amazing catch in left field…still very funny!

My wife and I were at Mars Hill Church in Grandville, Michigan a week ago and we had the opportunity to learn about STOP THE TRAFFIK from Steve Chalke.
From their website….
Stop The Traffik is a global movement against the trafficking of people. It has more than 1000 member organisations in 50 countries & a grass roots following of ordinary activists around the world. Some of us sign petitions, wear symbols of the campaign, spread the message, and some of us show our support through adapting our lifestyles. We believe that when people act things change.
I want to encourage you to add your name and voice to the fight against human trafficking.
It happens here in the United States, it happens all over the world and the most common victims are young children who are sold into slavery. Sometimes that slavery means they are used for sex sometimes it means for cheap labor.
Also, DO NOT CONTRIBUTE to human trafficking. Be discerning of the products you buy. Look for FREE TRADE and TRAFFICKING FREE labels on the products you buy, particularly CHOCOLATE.
Here’s a group of people who really serve a purpose…what purpose it is is beyond me.
Boycotting is the Christian way of saying “Do it or else…” and don’t you think that is the way Jesus would deal with non-religious groups?
Me either.
This lady thinks that John McCain has a lot in common with Jesus…which we all do…She says she is not comparing McCain to Jesus…but is she comparing the United States to God?
This lady is a nutjob.
I just found this story on a news service which I subscribe to. I subscribe to several, this story came up under the topic "Christianity."
It’s one story, but for those who may do a search for Christianity investigating the faith this is out there for them to see and I guess it isn’t bad for them to see this. I think perhaps it is a reminder for those of us who believe that we cannot assume that just because we have the right lingo, job or family profile that we are immune to such temptations.
Good people with good intentions sometimes do horribly stupid and potentially evil things.
Lets continue to pray for one another. Also, take this opportunity to pray for and even be bold enough to talk to one another about areas of concern. It is one thing to judge someone, it is another thing to LOVINGLY inquire of them about a situation or character that may be damaging them and their walk.
Accountability isn’t just a buzz word. It is tough and it needs loving action behind it to be worth a rip.
