So Ron Paul has put together a team of people who are undoubtedly the envy of every other candidate running for President in 2008. Now he has all this money and yet he can’t get included in the national debates coming up on FoxNews and ABC. What gives?

I honestly don’t know too much about the guy other than he has been tearing up the Internet with his grassroots attack on YouTube, FaceBook, MySpace and the like.

He has raised almost as much money as Hillary Rodham Clinton for his Presidential bid and has accessed more funds than any of his GOP counterparts but how has he done it? THE INTERNET.

The question remains will the people who give him 30 and 50 dollars here and there through the Internet show up and actually vote? Polls by national news organizations suggest that he only has a following of 3% - 9% around the country. A decent showing to get some ideas heard but nothing to be too concerned about.

Here is an article in Bloomberg that got me wondering about these things.

Now some questions for those of you who are Ron Paul fans.

Is this a legit bid for the White House by Paul?

Would you vote for him if he was a third party candidate?

What is it that is drawing you to him?

He has the cash but does he have the votes?
